Civil Labourer

Our client operates across a range of industrial and infrastructure environments, delivering essential maintenance and services throughout the Perth metro area. Due to continued business growth, they are now seeking an experienced Civil Labourer to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous civil, construction, drainage or pipelaying experience who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and is looking for a long-term opportunity with plenty of overtime available.
Malaga Depot + Perth Metro Site Locations
$38.44 - $40.00/hr + super + penalties (pending experience)
Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:10pm + additional OT
Training & Upskilling | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

What Will You Be Doing?
Starting from the Malaga depot each morning, you'll head out with the crew in a company vehicle to worksites across Perth. Your duties will include:

• Assisting with stormwater drainage installation and maintenance
• Supporting pipelaying and general civil works
• Shovelling, digging and trenching
• Using measuring tapes, string lines, hammers and bars for service installation
• Operating plate compactors and other small plant/equipment
• General labouring, site clean-up and crew support
• Completing pre-starts, JSEAs and basic site paperwork

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

• Previous experience in civil labouring, construction or a similar hands-on role
• Pipelaying and/or stormwater drainage experience highly regarded
• Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence  (MR highly advantageous)
• Current Construction White Card
• Comfortable completing physically demanding outdoor work
• Reliable, safety-focused team player with good communication skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol assessment
• Full Australian working rights
