Civil Labourer

Job Description

Direct Personnel are seeking multiple Civil Labourers for a number of different projects around Brisbane and South East QLD. Immediate starts available for the right candidates.

Duties will vary depending on the role and may include:

• Assisting  and supporting trades - Formworkers, Concreters, Pipe Layers
• Spotting machinery
• Assisting with bulk earthworks
• General site clean up and labouring
• Plant operations (where required if ticketed)
• Shovelling and trenching
• Road works

Requirements:

• Hold a current drivers licence and own reliable transport
• Hold a valid construction white card
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
• Strong safety focus and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to commit to a Monday to Saturday roster
• Any plant/machinery tickets and experience is highly regarded

Due to the nature of these roles, applicants should be physically fit and able to safely undertake work which could include a variety of different weather conditions, being on your feet all day, climb ladders, and getting in and out of vehicles, machinery or trenches.
