We have ongoing apprenticeship opportunities available throughout the country for aspiring chefs. Due to the diverse needs of our clients, we also have diversity in our programs.


Local Hire - * Currently open for Australind, WA locals



  • As a local hire, you will be working more than likely a Monday – Friday role.

  • Attend on campus training 1 day a week.


Fly In/Fly Out (FIFO) or Drive In/Drive Out (DIDO) - * Currently Talent Pooling 



  • Work at a remote mining village on a “swing” which is more than likely 2 weeks working away, 1 week off at home (2:1)

  • Attend training on campus in blocks of time.

A Bit about you!



  • Previous experience as a cook or kitchen hand is very desirable.

  • Have the commitment to complete the 3-year program.

  • Have a can do, flexible and positive attitude towards work and learning.

  • You are punctual and can be a reliable team player.

  • Most importantly, have a genuine interest in all things culinary and be a real “foodie”.
