Description

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Carpenter to join our Hard FM team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In this role, you will deliver high-quality carpentry and building maintenance services within a large, complex healthcare facility, ensuring safety, reliability and excellent service standards at all times.

This is a full-time opportunity, working 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Participation in an after-hours on-call roster may be required.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver day-to-day carpentry and general building maintenance, including repairs to doors, trims, hardware, ceilings and FF&E.
  • Complete preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works and emergency repairs across the facility.
  • Conduct inspections, condition assessments and assist with data collection and reporting.
  • Prioritise and manage work orders to meet required timeframes and service standards.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant and hazard-free workplace while collaborating with the wider maintenance team.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Trade qualification in Carpentry and current White Card.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in carpentry and building maintenance (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of WHS requirements, building regulations and industry standards.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, ladders and Elevated Work Platforms.
  • Reliable, organised and customer-focused with strong communication skills.
