Salary: $ 80,000 - $ 90,000 (Annually)

We seek a skilled and qualified Carpenter to join our team for construction projects in Alice Springs and surrounding remote communities. The role involves working on residential and commercial structures, including new builds, renovations, and demountable housing installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials
• Read and interpret building plans and technical drawings
• Measure, cut, and assemble the framework and other structural components
• Install doors, windows, flooring, and other carpentry elements
• Work independently or as part of a team on construction projects
• Ensure compliance with Australian building codes and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
• Proven experience in the carpentry trade
• Ability to work in remote locations when required
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Current Drivers License

Desirable:

• Previous experience working on modular/demountable housing projects
• Experience working in remote communities
• Own tools and reliable transport
