Duties & Responsibilities

• Framing, fix-outs, cladding, decking, and other general carpentry tasks
• Reading plans and ensuring accurate execution of construction details
• Working independently and alongside other trades
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Site preparation and construction in remote and Indigenous communities

Skills & Experience Required

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Drivers Licence (manual preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of on-site experience (remote or regional experience a bonus)
• Able to work unsupervised and follow site plans
• Willing to work in remote NT communities and adapt to bush conditions

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

• First Aid Certificate
• Working at Heights or EWP tickets
• Own tools (tool allowance negotiable)
• Indigenous community housing experience
• Exposure to government or council projects
