About the role:
Join our team in Cairns and play a hands-on role in keeping Queensland’s Travel & Tourism Rollingstock fleet safe, reliable and ready for service. In this role, you’ll carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and fault-finding across a variety of rollingstock, including supporting the world-renowned Kuranda Scenic Railway – a service that delivers one of Australia’s most iconic rail journeys.
This is a great opportunity to combine your mechanical or carpentry trade skills with a role that helps showcase Far North Queensland to visitors from around the globe, all while working in a supportive team environment.

Hours and Salary:
This position offers a 8-day fortnight roster. With the current roster, and allowances you have the potential to earn over $115,000 annually plus 12.75% superannuation.
