Salter Cabinets specialises in commercial and residential joinery and we’re looking for an experienced installer.
Family owned and operated, with over 60 years industry experience you will have the opportunity to develop your skills whilst working alongside the sole owner.
Specialising in WA wide joinery and shop fitting, we manufacture and install high quality cabinetry in the residential and commercial industries using state-of-the-art machinery.
With a constant flow of projects ranging from commercial, retail and offices, to bespoke residential homes, we can offer our staff the ability to learn all facets of the business and advance their career in our workplace.
Qualifications and experience
The successful candidate will possess:
• A Cert III Cabinet Making
• White/Blue card
• Current driver’s license
• Experience in commercial/residential joinery and installation
Tasks & responsibilities
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly
• Sound knowledge of installation of commercial and domestic joinery
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing plans
• Quality control
• Capable of working effectively with the greater production team
Desirable:
• Immediate start
• Experience in driving a light transportation vehicle
• Forklift licence
• Reliable, excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High standard of workmanship and strong attention to detail
• Own tools
• Current First Aid Certificate
