Who are we?

Cranbrook Workshop specialises in custom joinery and cabinetry, balancing modern carpentry technologies with care and craft. We provide all types of joinery from simple solutions to more highly articulated interior designer led treatments. Working directly with interior designers and architects, we are always keen to integrate new materials and develop interesting details.

Part of the Robert Plumb Collective, and newly merged with Captive Cabinetmaking, Cranbrook Workshop is in a growth phase with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects. We are looking to expand our skilled cabinet making team and are looking for a skilled cabinet maker to join our team.

The position is full-time and located in our workshop in Botany.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a passionate and detail oriented cabinet maker with a keen eye for precision craftsmanship. In this role, you will work on premium architectural projects and be part of a highly regarded team of industry experts.

You will be responsible for assisting with the construction and assembly of our products for each project.

Responsibilities include:

• Construction and assembly
• Workshop coordination and organisation
• Maintain a safe and clean job site
• SCM Machinery operation

Skills & experience

• Certificate 3 in Cabinet Making or Joinery (Apprentices in their final years will also be considered)
• Experience in a similar environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
