About the role
The successful applicants will join a passionate and energetic team where they will be responsible for providing technical knowledge, support, and assistance to Thiess’ maintenance operations.
The role will also provide an opportunity to expand your maintenance technical skills and become a leader in the mechanical field.
Peak Downs – Moranbah QLD

BIBO provided by Thiess from Mackay and Townsville
Caval Ridge camp based at the Buffel Park Village - 5 minutes from site! Offering accommodation, meals, wet mess and 2 gym facilities.
Curragh North – Blackwater QLD
BIBO from Yeppoon, Rockhampton, and Mackay. If based outside of these areas, you can salary sacrifice your flights.
Even time roster of 7/7 and 12hr days/nights on offer to provide a balanced lifestyle.
Range View camp - up to 45 mins from site
Living off camp allowance for Blackwater residence only

About You
You will hold a Diesel Fitting trade certificate.
Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry essential.
Experience with Liebherr Excavators, CAT 797 and 789 Trucks would be an advantage.
Experience in general maintenance, tyre fitting, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing mining equipment
Current Standard 11
Current drivers’ licence
Relevant coal mining certifications
