Workshop Boilermaker

Up to $2400+ per week on a 50hr week

At M2P Engineering, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality engineering and construction solutions. As a Workshop Boilermaker, you will play a critical role in fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Based in Salisbury, QLD, you will work in our well-equipped workshop, contributing to a variety of projects across different sectors, including mining, industrial, and marine.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components
• Utilising your knowledge of GMAW (flux core) and GTAW welding processes
• Fabricating a variety of heavy industrial pipework, platework, and structural steel
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Working with a variety of materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium, and exotics
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, GMAW (flux core), and GTAW
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience in fabricating heavy industrial pipework, platework, and structural steel
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail

Ideally, you will also have:

• Experience in a workshop environment, particularly within the mining, industrial, or marine sectors
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A flexible attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed
