Boilermaker/Welder

EnerMech are seeking experienced Boilermaker/ Welders for full time works located at our client site in Gladstone 

The position of Welder is responsible for fabricating and repairing metal products in workshops and on client sites as requested. The Welder will be required to use multiple welding techniques within this role.  To comply with departmental procedures, safe operating procedures, participate with equipment documentation and maintenance, operate all nominated equipment and assist in administration and mobilisation activities.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Regular attendance and participation to safety and tool box meetings;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• Great time management skills.
• Uncompromising attitude to safety in the workplace.
• Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to pass a weld test in MMAW and/or GTAW welding.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings

Licenses & Tickets:

• Engineering Trade Certificate (Essential)
• Ability to pass 3 site medical
• Rigging/dogging ticket (preferred)
• White card
• Confined space ticket (within 2 years)
• Working at heights (within 2 years)

This is a full time role with a competitive hourly rate starting at $42.44 plus site allowances and uplifts
