Boilermaker (Port)

At Newhaul Port Logistics, we are committed to excellence by facilitating seamless bulk commodity exports from Geraldton Port. We play a pivotal role in the smooth flow of bulk commodity exports, leveraging our strategic location to provide efficient and reliable port services. We specialise in efficiently handling iron ore, in addition to other high-value bulk commodities, including high-purity silica and spodumene (lithium) concentrate.

We are looking for a Boliermaker to join our Geraldton team on a permanent, full-time basis. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Be responsible for stripping, rebuilds, and refurbishments.
• Be responsible for general maintenance and workshop duties.
• Be responsible for complying with and updating documentation.
• Be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Assist all managers with any additional duties as required.
• Have a strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have demonstrated ability to work safely.
• Have good time management and work prioritisation skills.
• Be willing to carry out basic maintenance outside of fitting duties when required.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Geraldton at the Port with a minimum of 50 hours per week, roster negotiable. 

• Have a current Drivers licence, HR preferable.
