Boilermaker

Prime Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced, Trade Qualified Boilermaker to join our client's workshop based in Henderson.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled Boilermaker to secure employment within a well-established workshop environment.
You will be responsible for fabrication and welding work involving carbon steel structural components and pipe supports. 
Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and welding of carbon steel structural components.
• Working on various pipe supports and associated steelwork
• Reading and accurately interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Measuring, marking out and preparing materials.
• Ensuring all fabrication work meets specified measurements and tight tolerances.
• Maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy and workmanship.
• Working safely and efficiently within a busy workshop environment.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:30pm (10-hour shifts).
• Saturday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (6-hour shift). 
• Location: Henderson workshop.

Skills & Experience Required

• Australian recognised Trade Qualification in Boilermaking.
• Previous workshop fabrication experience.
• Competent in MIG/FCAW welding and general fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong measuring and marking-out skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working to tight tolerances.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
