We offer complete, engineered turn-key conveying and materials handling solutions for surface, underground and hard rock mining, port facilities and process plants.

Our Opportunity

To support our ongoing growth, NEPEAN Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Boilermaker to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our design and manufacturing facility in the Lithgow/Bathurst NSW area. 

In this facility we work within a team of project managers, engineers, designers and fabricators on projects large and small.

Daily duties will typically include:

• Workshop and site activities
• Removal and/or repair of existing structures or mechanical components
• MIG and Stick welding
• Air Arc Gauging
• Preparation and installation of structural steel and mechanical assemblies
• Manufacture, weld, grind, drill and polish to trade requirements 
• Inspection and Testing

The Right Person

The ideal candidate for this position would have:

• Strong understanding of heavy industry fabrications, machining and fitting processes
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Trade Qualification (Cert. III) in Fabrication (Advantageous) or a minimum 2 years’ welding experience
•  First aid certificate (Advantageous)
• Working at heights.
• Confined space.
• Class C driver license.
• High risk work license – Forklift
• High risk work license – Dogging
