Automotive Spray Painter

The Brown and Hurley Group is seeking a dedicated Spray Painter to join our Coffs Harbour branch. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of spray-painting services on trucks and trailers, including preparation and other technical spray-painting tasks

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with quoting retail, warranty and insurance paint repairs
• Carry out preparation and spraying work on new and used trucks and trailers 
• Removal and Replacement of painting items and components as required 
• Check own work to ensure it is carried out to the manufacturers’ and job requirements
• Help train apprentices and assist other workshop personnel 
• Complete job cards correctly
• Provide exceptional and professional customer service 

About you:

• Automotive Refinishing qualification or any other mechanic qualification 
• Ability to colour match and blend paint
• Works safely, team player, excellent communicator and problem-solver
• Car licence
• HR and forklift licence (desirable)
• Truck or Trailer experience an advantage
