As part of the maintenance crew, the Auto Electrician will be maintaining a new fleet of electric Agi trucks, Cablebolters and Normet Shotcrete rigs.  

The Auto Electrician duties will consist of but not limited to – 

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring and electronic components on underground mining equipment, mobile plant and light vehicles
• Fault finding, repairing or replacing electrical components/wiring as required
• Maintaining plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Identifying and managing potential risks.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and electronic components on underground mining equipment, mobile plant and light vehicles;
• Fault finding repairing or replacing electrical components/wiring as required;
• Maintain plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• An Auto Electrical trade qualification.
• Experience in auto electrical maintenance on heavy mobile equipment in an underground mining environment.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Current First Aid certificate or ability to get prior to commencement.
• Valid manual drivers licence;
