GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must hold a relevant trade certificate
Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry essential.

Current Standard 11, a current open drivers’ licence and relevant coal mining certifications
Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Auto Electrician -
Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing and maintenance procedures
Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs to a high regard
Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation
Provide high-quality installations including mountings, wiring and testing of equipment
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
Refrigerated handling license advantageous
Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry.
Experience in general service, maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and proper diagnostics, Computer system JDE, OEM computer-based systems, Cat, Cummins, Hitachi and Liebherr.
