The Role:

We have a permanent position available at our Narangba site for an experienced Auto Electrician where you will be manufacturing new builds along with diagnosing and fault-finding electrical system and componentry problems in a range of specialised vehicles, ambulance, fire, mobile health, and bespoke one-off vehicles.

This role will involve:

• Low voltage wiring and fit out on specialised vehicles, ambulance, fire, mobile health, bespoke one-off builds.

• Harness manufacture to supplied drawings.

• Harness fit out and cable runs on new vehicles to supplied drawings.

• Control board manufacturing to supplied drawings.

• Control system fit out and connection on new vehicles.

• Electrical servicing and fault finding for repairs and maintenance on older vehicles.

• Integration of OEM truck systems to body builder systems.

• Working on one-off builds, or as part of a production run

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Being a trade qualified Auto Electrician, ideally with experience working on specialised vehicles, new builds, repairs and maintenance projects

• Have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and follow instructions and work procedures

• Be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrate a high quality of workmanship and attention to detail

• Be physically capable to perform repetitive tasks – lifting, bending, twisting

• Successfully complete a pre-placement medical including D&A testing
