Komatsu’s Wacol PDI branch is growing, and we are currently seeking multiple Auto Electricians / HV Electricians to join our workshop team.

This is a hands-on role focused on electrical fit-outs and preparation of a wide range of machinery including:

• Brand-new machines
• Mining Equipment
• Construction & Utility Equipment 
  
  

You’ll work across machine assembly, fit-outs, pre-delivery inspections, machine preparation and local optional installation before equipment is delivered to customers.

We are open to candidates from a variety of trade backgrounds including:

• Auto Electricians
• HV Electricians
• Mobile Plant Electricians
• Light Vehicle Electricians
• Trades Assistants with heavy commercial electrical experience

Roster: Monday to Friday: 5:00am to 1:57pm OR 2:00pm to 10:27pm

Role Located:  Wacol, Queensland

What we are looking for:

• Trade qualification in Automotive Electrical, HV Electrical, Mobile Plant Electrical or similar
• Open to Light Vehicle Electricians and Trades Assistants with heavy commercial electrical experience
• Strong electrical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience with heavy mobile equipment or commercial machinery highly regarded
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and fault-find effectively
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Industry standard tickets/Licenses Preferred but not essential (Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, Doggers / Riggers)
