Our Dawson operation is a large open-cut coal mine and is showing no signs of slowing down!
Dawson’s mining process is completed by varied fleets of Draglines, Electric Rope Shovels, 600t & 260t Hydraulic Excavators, Ultra Class and 240t haul fleets with a large fleet of supporting ancillary equipment fleets.
Dawson is located at the southern end of the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, being just over a 2hrs drive west from either Rockhampton or Gladstone, or 4.5hrs drive north of the Darling Downs or South Burnett. Subsidised residential or camp accommodation options are available.
We are looking for experienced, qualified Auto Electricians to join our Field Maintenance team at our Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD.
Working within the Maintenance team you will be carrying out preventive, general maintenance, and repair work.
You will ideally possess experience working with mine site mobile equipment including Excavators, Drills and CAT/Komatsu Trucks and various mine site equipment.
You will enjoy the challenge of maintaining equipment, diagnosing problems, implementing preventative maintenance and have extensive skills. Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
