To support the growth of our existing projects in the Goldfields , we are seeking an experienced FIFO Auto-Electrician to join the team on either an 8/6 or 2/1 roster (your choice of roster) .

 You will join an existing/new crew of 2 Leading Hands, 12 HD Fitters, Apprentice Fitters and a crew of Service Personnel, Tyre Fitter & Trades Assistants.

 Job Offerings:

·        Permanent full-time opportunity on a long-term project

·        We offer an attractive hourly rate plus superannuation on all hours worked (12.5)

·        Day/Night shifts

·        2/1 roster – Perth or we offer one flight paid to any major Capital City in Australia, plus Cairns, Newcastle, Townsville, Launceston, Burnie, NZ Capital Cities, Bali, Thailand and the Philippines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Focus on maintaining/repairing our fleet of Kenworth Prime Movers, Bruce Rock/Roadwest/Boomerang Trailers, Komatsu Loaders/Graders & Light Vehicles

·        Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety

·        Respectful & honest communication with Leading Hands and your fellow team members

·        Maintain compliance to service schedule and ensure compliance with all necessary paperwork

You will be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of: 

·        Kenworths C509 and T909 

·        Bruce Rock/Roadwest/Boomerang Trailers

·        Komatsu WA500/600 Wheel Loaders

·        Komatsu GD655 Graders

·        Service Truck 

·        Toyota Light Vehicles

To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess or able to obtain the following:

·        Prior experience in maintaining Heavy Plant equipment in a mining/haulage environment, especially in Prime Movers, Trailers, Loaders & Graders

·        Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology

·        Air Conditioning Ticket/Refrigerant handling license (Australian recognised)

·        C Class Manual Driver’s License

·        Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

·        National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one 

·        Must hold Australian working rights
