Audio Visual Technician/Apprentice

We’re looking for talented and highly motivated Audio-visual Technicians or Apprentices to work within our Deployment team here at Pro AV Solutions QLD. If you have a genuine interest in the Audio-Visual industry and have developed a solid understanding of installation fundamentals, be that in AV/IT, Electrical, Data, and/or Security, we are keen to invest in your development.

The Role

As an Audio-Visual Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge AV solutions to a range of commercial projects across Queensland. You’ll work closely with our experienced Operations teams to ensure smooth, efficient installations, while enjoying the satisfaction of seeing your work come to life.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install audio-visual equipment and systems (speakers, projectors, displays, and more) as per project specifications.
• Troubleshoot and provide on-site support for system programs and installations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client needs and expectations.
• Maintain high standards of accountability to systems, processes, and company values.
• Gain exposure to high-end AV products and systems such as AMX, Crestron, Extron, and Kramer.

About You

We’re looking for someone who’s not only technically skilled but also eager to provide outstanding customer experiences and grow in the AV industry. You should have:

• A solid understanding of structured cabling and installation processes.
• Familiarity with AV components and their interaction.
• A passion for learning and growing your technical skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and a keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of AV products like AMX, Crestron, Extron, Kramer (desirable).

Ideally, you will have an ACMA Open Cabling Licence, ACMA Structured Cabling Endorsement, WP ticket SL, BL, VL (Yellow Card), White Card (QLD), and a valid Australian driver’s license.
