About The Opportunity
In your role as an Apprentice Plumber you will focus on learning and developing plumbing skills in order to use those skills to provide quality support to Bundaberg Regional Council. You will assist in the provision of plumbing installation, maintenance and repair of Council's Water Services infrastructure in a safe and efficient manner while completing the requirements of a Certificate III in Plumbing.
This role will also include participation in external industry placements with licensed plumbing contractors to gain experience in residential and commercial plumbing where required
This fixed term apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with theoretical learning through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) - setting you up for a successful career in the plumbing trade.
