Are you interested in taking the first steps towards your career as a Mechanical Fitter? At Delta, we’re looking our next Mechanical Apprentices to join our Maintenance team at Vales Point Power Station. You’ll join a supportive team of seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on experience whilst completing your formal TAFE studies. This is your opportunity to contribute to powering Australia whilst advancing your career!

About You:

You are finishing school this year or have already completed your studies.
Have a passion and aptitude for all things mechanical.
You find power stations or other heavy industry environments interesting and are excited to work on large process plant.
You have a strong work ethic, are self-motivated and have a positive attitude towards learning.
You understand the importance of safety and compliance in the workplace and take care to comply with all standards and procedures.
A Class C drivers licence and your own transport is highly desirable.

Start date: You must be available to start work on a full-time basis commencing January 2025.

These positions are based at Vales Point Power Station located at Mannering Park on the Central Coast, NSW. Successful first year Apprentices will spend the initial six months of this program based in Rutherford (near Maitland) where they will undertake training to learn basic skills before commencing onsite.
