As part of Robert Plumb Collective, Cranbrook Workshop specialises in custom joinery and cabinetry, balancing modern carpentry technologies with care and craft. We provide all types of joinery from simple solutions to more highly articulated interior designer led treatments.

Working directly with interior designers and architects, we are always keen to integrate new materials and develop interesting details.

This position is full-time and located in our workshop in Botany.

About the role

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a new team member who has already started their apprenticeship. As an apprentice joiner you will be responsible for assisting our skilled team in the following:

  • Crafting of individual solid timber products
  • Construct and assemble components as specified
  • Collaborate with team to produce the highest quality products
  • Operation of workshop machinery
  • Opportunity for 5Axis CNC machine training
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site

Who are we looking for?

  • You are in your 3rd or 4th year of your Joinery apprenticeship (2nd year apprentices will be considered with the right experience).
  • You have a genuine interest in woodwork
  • You have great interpersonal skills and a great attitude
  • You are organised and have an attention to detail
  • CNC experience will be highly regarded
  • Drivers Licence
