About the role

Are you passionate about electrical work and looking to kick-start your career as a qualified Electrician? Great news - we're now accepting applications for candidates interested in completing a four-year Apprenticeship in Certificate III Electrotechnology.

We are searching for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to make a positive impact in their community. If you are passionate about learning and ready to apply your natural talents and skills to real-life situations, we'd love to have you on board!

The Apprentice Electrician is responsible for assisting with the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical/electronic equipment and associated control devices for water supply and wastewater facilities, and Layer 3 TCP/IP network.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll work alongside experienced supervisors and technicians, getting involved in daily worksite activities and safely carrying out maintenance and repairs. It's an exciting opportunity to grow and learn in a supportive environment.

About you?

Do you have strong mechanical skills and a talent for working with electrical and electronics? If you're someone who can handle a heavy workload, collaborate effectively within a team, and is eager to learn, then this fantastic opportunity is perfect for you.

All you need to apply is a NSW School Certificate (or equivalent) and a current Driver's License (Minimum P1). Having additional qualifications such as a National Construction Industry Induction (Whitecard) would be a bonus.

Keep in mind that as part of your apprenticeship, you will acquire certifications such as Enter & Work in a Confined Space, Work Safely at Heights, and Fibre Optics - Splice & Termination, along with Inspect, Clean & Handle certification.

What's on offer?

  • Between $687.10 and $803.30 per week (depending on age) + 11.5% superannuation
  • Temporary four-year Full-Time position 38 hours per week.
  • Scope for performance-based salary increases in line with the completion of studies.
  • Support throughout your studies and reimbursements for learning materials and textbooks.
  • Ongoing training and development throughout your qualification.
