Our Opportunity

NEPEAN Power is currently seeking an apprentice electrician to join the team. This opportunity is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Thornton, NSW. Daily duties will include however are not limited to;

• Interpret Electrical Schematics and scopes of work
• Control and power wiring of electrical equipment
• Fault finding and function testing of electrical equipment
• AS3800 level overhaul of intrinsically safe control equipment
• Providing high quality workmanship on time and on budget
• Maintain calibration of test equipment
• Ensure all equipment, machinery and tooling is kept in good working order
• Document control and progress reporting
• Liaise with supervisor to set priorities and meet deadlines

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• The right to work in Australia
• A driver’s licence
• Completed or are completing your HSC or a Pre-Apprenticeship course
• A genuine interest in the electrical trade
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
