At Compass Group, we employee over 13,000 people around Australia who work at 700 locations across our various sectors. Our client Chartwells is a long-established partner who are specialist in providing catering and hospitality services within the educations sector. We operate high school cafes and university food-halls. We provide live-in college/boarding school meals and special event catering. Our goal is to provide fun, nutritious dining solutions tailored to each cohort.  

Currently Chartwells has ongoing apprenticeship opportunities available throughout Queensland and is looking for our next aspiring chefs.  

Thinking about starting your career journey toward a fully paid, Australian Nationally Recognised Qualification – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

• Be committed to completing a three-year apprenticeship 

• Be punctual and reliable, with flexibility for early morning starts and occasional evening shifts for events 

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment 

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and work well within a team
