In the heart of Burnie lies Burnie Central Townhouse Hotel, a favourite local pub and affordable accommodation for travellers to Tasmania’s north west. Burnie Central is conveniently located on the corner of Spring and Wilson Streets directly off the Bass highway, just two blocks from the city centre and a short stroll from the beach.

This is a brilliant opportunity to become an Apprentice Chef at the Burnie Townhouse Hotel!

What you’ll do:

• Bring your passion for good food and creating moments that matter for our guests
• Work alongside qualified Chefs to learn everything you need to know about being a successful Chef
• Adhere to food hygiene standards
• Be a team player

Qualifications

What you’ll need: 

• Experience working in a hands-on commercial kitchen would be great but not essential 
• Current training records (delete if 1st yr apprentice) with a purpose to achieve appropriate qualifications 
• Dedicated passion to learn and grow both on the job and off the job in a learning environment
• Strong communication and organisation skills
