At Opal HealthCare, we know that companies don’t succeed, people do.  Our Bathurst Riverview Care Community is offering a Cert IV apprenticeship in Commercial Cookery for a motivated school leaver.  Learn your trade under the guidance of our on-site Head Chef and prepare nourishing flavourful food that strengthens the body, warms the heart and inspires the soul for residents living in our Care Community.

  • Passion for food
  • Leaving High School to work full time Year 10 -12  (16 years old+)
  • Food preparation and mise en plus
  • Food presentation and plating
  • Kitchen cleaning procedures
  • FIFO food storage
  • Texture modification in line with the IDDSI framework

Please note all applicants must be willing to complete a pre-employment medical, police clearance and NDIS worker’s clearance.
