The role

Are you eager to embark on a thrilling culinary career mastering the art of cooking delicious dishes whilst achieving a nationally recognised qualification? Our esteemed culinary apprentice program is on the lookout for the next generation of chefs. You will complete both on and off the job training and learn from top professionals rotating across the hotel operation, including niche restaurants such as Oncore by Clare Smyth and the world renowned Nobu. This career opportunity is not to be missed.

In this role you will:

  • Have hands on experience working in a number of Crown’s premium & casual restaurants as well as banqueting operations. 
  • Exposure to a variety of Asian and Western cuisines under the guidance of some of Sydney's leading Chefs and a dedicated Culinary Trainer. 
  • Attend classes 1 day at week with William Angliss to complete Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

About you

You’ll bring the following:

  • A passion and dedication for cooking; no prior professional experience is necessary
  • Can do attitude, initiative & ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work as part of a motivated team
  • Availability to work a full-time rotating roster, including late nights and early mornings
  • Eager to learn and commit to a 3-year Apprenticeship with Crown
  • Full working rights: Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
