About the opportunityThis fixed-term apprenticeship runs for up to four years and is designed to support you from day one through mentoring, structured learning and hands-on workshop experience. By the end of the apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to become a qualified Fabrication Boilermaker and complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering – Boilermaking/Welding.
You’ll be trained across the assembly, disassembly, maintenance and overhaul of underground mining materials handling equipment, conveyor components, gearboxes, driveline equipment, winching equipment, hydraulic power packs and related workshop activities.
What you’ll learn
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and safety-minded applicants who are keen to learn, enjoy practical hands-on work and want to build a future in the engineering and fabrication trade. Completion of Year 12 is required, and previous school-based work experience or a Certificate in Engineering Pathways will be highly regarded.
