Our esteemed client is currently seeking skilled and experienced Agricultural Fitters to join their dynamic team. The successful candidates will possess a solid background in agricultural machinery maintenance and repair, combined with a meticulous attention to detail. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the optimal functioning of a wide array of agricultural machinery and equipment, maintaining them to the highest standards of efficiency and safety.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of an Agricultural Fitter.
• Provide supporting documents, such as payslips, employment evidence, a valid passport, and police clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify faults and malfunctions in agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and servicing to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan.
• Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts using a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, machine tools, and welding equipment.
• Calibrate machinery to ensure it meets operational efficiency standards.
• Fabricate new metal parts as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of machinery serviced and repairs carried out.
• Adhere to all safety standards and protocols during maintenance and repair tasks.
• Work closely with farm management to schedule and prioritize maintenance and repair activities.
• Keep abreast of the latest technological advancements in agricultural machinery.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in agricultural machinery maintenance and repair.
• Relevant training certificates in agricultural equipment repair or similar fields.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to ensure effective communication with team members and clients.
