2nd and 3rd Year Plastering Apprenticeship

A very well respected and established Plasterer who services the Kilmore, Seymore and Nagambie area is looking for a fit motivated, reliable person who is either 3rd, 2nd year or 1st year to be employed to do Gyprock and Fibrous Plastering 

Our client is a highly respected and locally based in Kilmore but also services the Seymour and Nagambie area who specialises in plastering, is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working, self-motivated, and most importantly, passionate individual to commence an Apprenticeship. This employer is prepared to take on a Third, Second year Apprentice or a First year Apprentice.

The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Solid Plastering including:

• Measuring and Cutting plaster sheets to fit
• Positioning and securing plaster panels to walls and ceilings
• Rendering and sealing of joints
• Covering and sanding screw and nail holes using plaster filler

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards Certificate III Solid Plastering which will see you employed directly by Kestrel by up to 3 years.

Please note that relevant Apprentice/Trainee award rates will apply.

Requirements

• Current Driver’s Licence ( Preferable)
• Physically fit
• 100% commitment to undertaking this 3 year apprenticeship
• White card prior to commencement
• Reliable and honest
