About the opportunity CMI Toyota is looking for our next group of Apprentice Technician (Mechanic) to join our iconic company starting in February 2027. But here’s just some of what you’ll be doing: Completing your trade certificate to become a light vehicle technician Learning the principles of service, repair and maintenance for a variety of vehicles Training on manufacturer, customer service and CMI Toyota standards Understanding how to provide the highest level of workmanship   Most importantly, you’ll be working as part of a broader workshop team where quality, safety and teamwork matter.   What you can expect As a CMI Toyota apprentice in one of our workshops, you can expect: Industry leading training over and above the minimum standard Daily support from experienced colleagues and leaders A clean, well-equipped workshop designed for safety and productivity Set hours with predictable rosters Overtime opportunities available if you want them   About you To help you start your successful career as an automotive technician, you’ll: Have completed at least Year 11 and/or Cert II in Automotive Servicing Technology Possess a good mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning more Be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail Demonstrate a friendly, positive, and can-do attitude Have a current manual and auto drivers’ licence (essential)   Your future with CMI Toyota We pride ourselves on the opportunity to build a true career with CMI Toyota, just ask any one of our long-standing team members.
