We’re offering motivated individuals the opportunity to earn a Certificate III in Electrotechnology while gaining hands-on experience at Chain Valley Colliery, an underground coal mine with over 60 years of history

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs of underground mining equipment
• Working with experienced tradespeople in a high-performing team
• Build your career with future development and progression opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• You care about safety and always look out for your mates
• You’re driven by achievement, eager to learn, grow your skills and take pride in your results
• You show respect by being a true team player, valuing others and learning from experienced tradespeople
• You feel empowered to give things a go, take initiative, and back yourself to succeed
• You are ready to commit and see the full 4-year program through
• You bring genuine enthusiasm for the electrical trade and the mining industry 
•  You are a strong communicator who listens well and takes feedback on board
• You hold a current driver’s licence (or working towards it by January 2026)
