2 x Electrical Leading Hands | 4 x Commercial Construction Electricians

Daniel Yelkovan from ri-kroot has been engaged to recruit a 2 x Leading Hand/Foreman’s and 4 x Commercial Construction Electricians for an extremely busy electrical contractor completing a range of work in and around Brisbane including a variety of schools, shopping centers and warehouses.
 
The leading hand/foreman’s are getting paid $75 per hour + Super + OT and the 4 x commercial construction electricians are getting paid $68.75 p/h + Super, + OT. Temp to perm after 6 months.
 
Responsibilities of the role include:

• Commercial construction experience
• Rough in and fit off
• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Installing switchboards and general electrical wiring
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Leading a team of qualified tradesman
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Providing quality control for ongoing and completed works
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Mentoring other staff members and providing sound technical advice
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Developing and maintaining client relationships
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Preparation of quotes
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Attending site meetings and project management
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Conducting daily pre-starts 

The successful application will possess the following: 

• Current QLD electrical license 
• Working at heights ticket (ideally)
• Current drivers license
• Construction white card 
• Current LVR CPR
• Excellent work ethic combined with a faultless OH&S record
• Physically fit and able to work well within a team
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Experience managing multiple employees
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Experience in a diverse range of Construction Projects 
• Leading Hand/Foreman - Proven skills in negotiation and conflict resolution
