The Role:

We are currently seeking committed and enthusiastic candidates to commence a full time boilermaker Apprenticeship in 2027 based in our Parkes NSW Branch. Working in our modern, fully equipped workshop you’ll develop the practical skills, knowledge and experience required to successfully complete your trade qualification. Where appropriate, you’ll also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on our project sites.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to undertake work experience with MCA Engineering during 2026, giving you the chance to experience the workshop, meet the team and get a head start on developing practical skills before your apprenticeship begins.

Responsibilities:

• Assist tradespeople with workshop activities and fabrication work
• Follow directions and complete tasks safely and to a high standard
• Learn and develop practical boilermaking skills
• Gain exposure to different types of mining, construction and fabrication work
• Where appropriate, gain hands-on experience on project sites

Requirements:

• Ability to listen and follow complex instructions
• Genuine interest and commitment to completing your trade certificate
• A work approach that shows a willingness to work to quality standards and meet expectations
• Computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies and tools
• A pre-trade course or work experience would be highly regarded
