Pacific Gympie is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated 1st Year Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our friendly and experienced workshop team.

About the Role
Working alongside our experienced technicians, you will learn to:
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Develop skills in modern automotive technology and diagnostic systems.
- Work across a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
- Complete your apprenticeship training and develop into a skilled, qualified technician.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a current, valid driver’s licence (mandatory).
- Has a genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn.
- Takes pride in their work and has good attention to detail.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Is committed to completing a four-year apprenticeship.
- Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation is highly regarded.
No previous automotive experience is required – just a valid driver’s licence, the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
