About the Opportunity

Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Hydraulic Apprentice to join our highly motivated team, located in Bundaberg, QLD.

As an Apprentice, you will be an essential part of our service team. You will receive comprehensive training on all aspects of hydraulic componentry, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and commissioning as part of Certificate 3 in Mobile Plant Technology. You will work alongside experienced professionals, develop hands-on skills, and contribute to exciting projects in the hydraulic industry.

Your Tasks

• Assist senior hydraulic technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic systems and equipment.
• Learn to read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing hydraulic system issues.
• Assemble and disassemble hydraulic components.
• Gain proficiency in using hydraulic tools and testing equipment.
• Attend training programs and courses to enhance hydraulic knowledge and skills.

About You

• Minimum Year 10 High School Certificate
• Demonstrated high levels of initiative and self-motivation
• Strong interest in hydraulics and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
• Good mathematical and mechanical skills and an enjoyment for technical work
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and customer centric mind-set
• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
