Role Details

• Title: 1st Class Welder / Pipe Fitter
• Location: ~2 hours from Perth
• Roster/ Travel: DIDO from Perth - 2:1 or 10:4
• 12-hour days
• Accommodation Provided

Scope: You'll be working within an experienced team between Perth and Kalgoorlie and be responsible for welding and installing MSCL pipelines to the highest quality and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for qualified tradespeople looking for consistent project work!
Duties will include:

• Innershield (FCAW-S, self-shielded flux-cored) welding of carbon steel pipe
• Welding and installing MSCL pipelines
• Full welds along the outside / smaller welds on the inside of the pipe
• General welding duties associated with the pipeline installation

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Cert III Engineering – Fabrication Trade (MEM31922)
• Proven Innershield (self-shielded flux-cored / FCAW-S) welding experience
• Experience working on 700 OD MSCL pipe
• Ability to pass a practical Innershield weld test
• Experience with MSCL pipeline installation - highly regarded
• Carbon steel welding experience - Highly regarded
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• White Card
• Confined Space Entry
• National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)

Previous pipeline or major infrastructure experience highly regarded. Long-term opportunities available for experienced welders who meet the above requirements.
